My name is Arina Gusakovskaya.

Originally I'm from Belarus.

Since 09'2022 based in Tbilisi.

Since 12'2024 based in Warszawa .

I've been into photography since 2016.

During my university studies, I realised that my favourite works have always fallen into the street photography genre - capturing candid social reality that is so impressive to shoot.

For me, street photography

represents a quest for poetic coincidences across diverse spaces: natural, architectural, social, and cultural. I am attracted to surreal and metaphorical motifs, when the ordinary in my eyes acquires something ideologically deep, fabulous, or intimate.

I’m a retoucher who thinks like a photographer.
With a background in cultural studies and years of reportage photography,
I read images through meaning, emotion, rhythm, and color.

I approach retouching as a continuation of the shoot — not a correction.
Working with references from painting and cinema, I rely on a refined sense of appropriateness and intuition.

My focus is simple: preserve atmosphere, honesty, and life in every frame.
